Our Mission The Mission of Communities In Schools is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

Our FundersEvery local CIS program is an independently run 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization.
In Texas every CIS program receives partial funding from the Texas Legislature to operate its program.
Local programs must raise additional money from the public and private sector to be fully operational.
